General description
Sodiumphenyl phosphate dibasic dihydrate is utilized in various applications, including as a buffering agent in biochemical and pharmaceutical formulations. It is also employed as a liquid scintillator and serves as a model forassessing the stability of aryl-phosphate esters in the presence of causticmaterials . Additionally, it acts as a substrate for evaluating phosphataseactivity, undergoing hydrolysis to produce phenol and phosphate.
Application
- Resorcinol monophosphate ester as a new substrate for fluorometric detection of alkaline phosphatase activity in milk products: This study involves the use of sodium phenyl phosphate dibasic dihydrate for the detection of alkaline phosphatase activity in milk products (Li et al., 2023).
- Scintillating Cocktail Mixtures and the Role of Water on the Optophysical Properties: This paper investigates the use of sodium phenyl phosphate dibasic dihydrate in scintillating cocktail mixtures for their optophysical properties (Cordaro et al., 2015).
- Detecting acid phosphatase enzymatic activity with phenol as a chemical exchange saturation transfer magnetic resonance imaging contrast agent (PhenolCEST MRI): Study utilizing sodium phenyl phosphate dibasic dihydrate for detecting enzymatic activity via MRI contrast agents (Zhang et al., 2019).
