General description

Cytivas Whatman® cellulose nitrate membrane filters offer:

Application

Narrow sub-micron pore size distribution for improved surface capture and analysis.
  • Low extractable levels to ensure sample integrity.
  • Standard membrane filter for most applications involving particles and cells from 0.1 µm to 12.0 µm.Standard membrane filter for most applications involving particles and cells from 0.1 µm to 12.0 µm.


Narrow pore size distribution
  • Very fine particles can be retained for recovery or microscopic viewing.


Increased temperature stability
  • Temperature-resistant cellulose nitrate can withstand autoclaving up to 121°C with no loss in integrity.


High strength and flexibility
  • Cytivas cellulose nitrate membranes are manufactured to have strength and flexibility, to prevent tearing during handling and loading, as well as reduced shrinkage during autoclaving, to support physical recovery of deposits.


White plain filters
  • White membrane surface allows colony counting, particle counting, and sterility testing of dark samples.
