Application

14:0 Lyso PC has been used to study its role in nerve growth factor (NGF)-induced mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and serine/threonine-protein kinase akt-1 signals in rat pheochromocytoma PC12 cells.
14:0 Lyso PC may be used:
  • as a component of detergent micelle to analyze the secondary structure of the purified twin-arginine translocation (Tat) membrane protein (TatCd) by circular dichroism (CD)
  • for the synthesis of three monofluorinated dimyristoylphosphatidylcholines (F-DMPC′s), such as 2F-DMPC, 12F-DMPC and 14F-DMPC
  • as a component of dry lipid film for the synthesis of palladium (Pd)-pyrolipid theranostic nanoparticles (PdPL-NPs) and manganese-pyrolipid surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) NPs (MnPL-NPs)
