General description

This Certified Spiking Solution® is suitable for cannabigerol testing methods by HPLC, GC/MS, or LC-MS/MS for forensic analysis, clinical toxicology, urine drug testing, and Cannabis potency or impurity profiling testing applications. Cerilliant solution Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) of cannabinoids are supplied in a convenient, quantitative, US DEA-exempt solution format and with TK#s for Canadian customers.

Cannabigerol is a non-psychotropic phytocannabinoid that belongs to the group of C21 terpenophenolic compounds.

Application

The Certified Spiking Solution® is suitable for cannabigerol testing by HPLC, GC/MS, or LC-MS/MS methods in forensic analysis, clinical toxicology, urine drug testing, and Cannabis potency or impurity profiling testing applications. The Certified Reference Material (CRM) in solution can also be used as follows:
  • High-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC)- diode array detector (DAD) based quantification of cannabinoids in cannabis plant material
  • Development and validation of an HPLC method to identify and quantify 11 cannabinoids in different varieties of cannabis plant materials
  • Determination of eight cannabinoids in recreational and forensic hemp samples using reversed phase-high-pressure liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) in combination with UV detector
  • Extraction of nine cannabinoids from food and beverage samples having hemp seeds, oil, and flour as ingredients followed by their analysis by liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-QTrap-tandem mass spectrometry LC/ESI‐QTRAP‐MS/MS
  • High-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC)-UV detection-based determination of main cannabinoids in 13 commercially available hemp seed oil samples
  • Simultaneous analysis of five major cannabinoids and their metabolites in human urine and plasma samples by high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS)

Features and Benefits

  • Fully characterized under ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 accreditation
  • Accompanied with a comprehensive Certificate of Analysis (CoA) with data on stability, homogeneity, accuracy of concentration, uncertainty, and traceability
  • Rigorously tested through real-time stability studies to ensure accuracy and shelf life
  • Gravimetrically prepared using qualified precision balances to ensure minimal uncertainty
  • Flame sealed under argon into ampoules for long-term shelf life
  • Offered in a convenient, DEA-exempt format to improve laboratory efficiency
