Docosapentaenoic acid (cis-7,10,13,16,19), also known as DPA, is an omega-3 fatty acid associated with neurological and ocular health benefits. Studies suggests that DPA as well as other fatty acids can serve as biomarkers for cardiovascular disease, and nutritional and metabolic disorders.
