General description

Pseudoephedrine, a phenethylamine analog, is used as a decongestant in over-the-counter cough and cold preparations such as Sudafed, Claritin-D, and MucinexD. Pseudoephedrine is a reagent in illegal methamphetamine production and is used by athletes as a performance enhancing drug. This Snap-N-Spike® standard is suitable for LC/MS or GC/MS pseudoephedrine testing applications in forensic analysis, urine drug testing, clinical toxicology and sports testing.
