General description

Vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) is a fat-soluble vitamin that serves as a cofactor for vitamin K-dependent (VKD) proteins and enzymes which activate blood-clotting factors. Vitamin K1 is critical to many physiological processes including bone metabolism, arterial calcification, growth control, and signal transduction.

Application

This certified solution standard is suitable for use as starting material in the preparation of linearity standards, calibrators, or controls in LC-MS/MS vitamin K1 clinical testing applications such as assessment of vitamin K deficiency as well as food and nutrition testing applications by HPLC.
Vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) may be used as a certified reference material (CRM) for the determination of the analyte in biological and food samples by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method.
