General description

The bioavailability of natural folates is lower than for synthetic folic acid. USFDA′s new nutrition labeling 23 regulation of May, 2016 requires methods such as ISO TC34 that can estimate contents of folic acid and natural folates separately.
This method requires CRMs of Folic Acid, 5-CH3-THF, 5-CHO-THF, Folic acid triglutamate, Pte-Glu3 and the corresponding 13C labelled CRMs.
