General description

Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin (TSLP) is a cytokine that plays a critical role in the immune system by promoting the differentiation and activation of various immune cells, particularly dendritic cells and T helper cells. It is primarily produced by epithelial cells in response to environmental stimuli, such as allergens and pathogens, and is involved in the development of allergic responses and asthma. TSLP is considered a key factor in the initiation of Th2 immune responses, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions in allergic and inflammatory diseases.

*Indicative LLOQ created from average of 15 independent in house runs, where >80% met same value defined with CV & Recovery +/- 20%. Refer to CoA for lot specific performance.

Other Notes

Although TSLP was detectable in mouse, canine and some rat and monkey samples, the assay has not been verified for these species.
