General description
Thymic Stromal Lymphopoietin (TSLP) is a cytokine that plays a critical role in the immune system by promoting the differentiation and activation of various immune cells, particularly dendritic cells and T helper cells. It is primarily produced by epithelial cells in response to environmental stimuli, such as allergens and pathogens, and is involved in the development of allergic responses and asthma.
