General description

Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is an anti-inflammatory cytokine primarily produced by regulatory T cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells, playing a crucial role in modulating immune responses. It is essential for inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, thus helping to maintain immune homeostasis and prevent excessive inflammation. Other Notes

Although IL-10 was detectable in non-human primate, mouse, rat, canine and feline samples, the assay has not been verified for these species.
