Features and Benefits

  • Breakthrough-level sensitivity for translational research: Supports early-stage biomarker identification and immune profiling with unmatched precision.
  • Wide Quantification Range: Captures MCP-1 levels across both baseline and elevated inflammatory states, ideal for diverse sample types.
  • Streamlined ELISA Workflow with SMC® Enhancements: Uses a familiar sandwich immunoassay format with a unique elution step for digital molecule counting.
  • Illuminate Monocyte Migration Pathways: MCP-1 is a key chemokine in immune cell recruitment; this kit helps quantify its role in inflammation and tissue infiltration.

General description

Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-1 (MCP-1), also known as CCL2, is a chemokine that plays a critical role in the recruitment of monocytes to sites of inflammation and injury. It is produced by various cell types, including macrophages, endothelial cells, and fibroblasts, in response to inflammatory stimuli. MCP-1 is involved in several physiological and pathological processes, including atherosclerosis, chronic inflammatory diseases, and tissue repair.
