General description
CAYE Broth is designed for the culture of pathogenic E. coli to enhance verotoxin production during growth.
The presence of casamino acids and yeast extract promote the growth of verotoxin producing E. coli. The presence of trace elements and resulting high pH value additionally supports the growth and toxin production.
