General description

Method: photometric 50 - 500 mg/l SO₄²⁻ Spectroquant®
The method is analogous to EPA 375.4, APHA 4500-SO4 2- E, and ASTM D516-11.
This Spectroquant® Sulfate Cell Test allows the accurate quantification of the sulfate content in aqueous samples.
Method applied: Sulfate ions react with barium ions to form slightly soluble barium sulfate. The resulting turbidity is measured photometrically (turbidimetric method).
The Spectroquant® Cell Tests come with prefilled 16 mm round cells and all the required reagents to perform the analysis according to the instruction leaflet provided.
All Spectroquant® Cell and Reagent Test Kits are equipped with the unique Live ID (2D barcode) which allows seamless method recognition and contains essential information such as lot number, expiry date, and automatic calibration updates.
