  • Improving Detection of Amplitude-Modulated Sound: Sodium salicylate has been shown to enhance the detection of amplitude-modulated sound in mice, suggesting its potential use in auditory research and therapies aimed at improving sound perception and processing (van den Berg et al., 2024).

  • Grain Protein Content Determination: In agricultural chemistry, sodium salicylate is employed in the indophenol blue colorimetric method to determine the grain protein content of cereal plants, showcasing its application in enhancing agricultural productivity and food quality assessment (Huang et al., 2024).
