Tryptose is a mixture of tryptic-digested proteins. It is a suitable nutrient base material for applications in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry.It is recommended for use in media for the cultivation of a wide range of fastidious bacteria such as Brucella, Streptococcoccus, Pneumococcus, Meningococcus spp., etc

Application

Tryptose is used in cell culture, molecular genetic media, and as a nutritive substrate for the cultivation and resuscitation of a large variety of fastidious microorganisms.
