General description
Agar Strips TC-y are ready-to-use culture media for assessment of airborne microorganisms with RCS® Air Samplers. Each individual agar strip is welded into a re-sealable sleeve and 100% visually controlled, ensuring maximum safety in critical environments. Tryptic Soy Agar is filled in a flexible backing film. Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA, Tryptic Soy Agar Soybean Casein Digest Agar) is a complex medium for cultivation and isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts and molds. The medium is supplemented with the neutralizers such as lecithin and polysorbate 80
Gamma-irradiated Tryptic Soy Agar, double-wrapped packaging; for determination of the total viable count in aseptic environments. For use with RCS Microbial Air Samplers. Store at 2-25°C.
Application
Agar Strips are used for monitoring of ambient air and compressed gases with RCS® Air Samplers. These Agar strips are gamma irradiated and triple bagged, for specific application within isolator and critical environment.
