General description

Vegetable Peptone Broth is a universal complex medium for the isolation and cultivation of microorganisms, especially for the Aseptic process simulation (Media Fill Test). The broth is suitable for media fill tests according to the recommendations of the “FDA Aseptic Guide” in aseptic production lines. The exclusive use of raw materials of non-animal origin allows the elimination of a potential contamination risk with TSE/BSE. The formulation of the basic medium (Vegetable Peptone Broth) is prepared according to the recommendations of the current European and United States Pharmacopoeia.

Application

Vegetable Peptone broth (VPB) is suitable for use in media fill tests. Growth promotion studies show very good results compared to conventional tryptic soy broth (TSB)

Other Notes

The ready-to-use and sterile medium is contained in a 10L self-collapsing bag, with an MPC connector.
