Description

General description

A potent calmodulin antagonist that inhibits Ca²⁺/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (IC₅₀ = 52 nM) and Ca²⁺/calmodulin-dependent phosphodiesterase (IC₅₀ = 1.1 nM).

Potent calmodulin antagonist. Inhibits activation of calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (IC₅₀ = 52 nM). Interacts with the catalytic core of CaM kinase II as a pseudosubstrate.
