General description

Recombinant, human MMP-7 expressed in E. coli. MMP-7, the smallest member of the matrix metalloproteinase family that can degrade a wide range of gelatins, proteoglycans, and glycoproteins of the matrix and can activate several other MMPs.

Physical form

In 150 mM NaCl, 10 mM HEPES, 5 mM CaCl₂, pH 7.4.

Preparation Note

Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-70°C).
