General description

A reversible inhibitor of aspartic proteases. Inhibits cathepsin D, pepsin, and renin. Reported to block apoptosis induced by CA-074 (Cat. No. 508437).

Effective concentration: 1.0 µM.

EC50 = 1.0 µM in blocking apoptosis induced by CA-074 in PC12 cell lines
