General description

Rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied as undiluted serum. Recognizes the ~125 kDa telomerase (TERT) protein.
Recognizes the ~125 kDa telomerase (TERT) protein.
This Anti-Telomerase (Ab-1) Rabbit pAb is validated for use in Immunoblotting, Immunoprecipitation, Paraffin Sections for the detection of Telomerase (Ab-1).

Immunogen

Human
a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids from an internal region of the catalytic subunit of human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT)

Application

Immunoblotting (1:100, see comments)

Immunoprecipitation (1:40, see comments)

Paraffin Sections (1:250-1:1000, see comments)

Physical form

Undiluted serum.

Preparation Note

Following initial thaw, aliquot and freeze (-20°C).

Other Notes

Antibody works only weakly in paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Nuclear extracts are recommended for immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the optimal working dilution.
