General description

HIS-BIND® purification kit includes pre-tested buffers specifically designed for IDA-based HIS-BIND Resin, enabling convenient and rapid one-step purification of proteins by metal affinity chromatography. It uses the HIS TAG®/HIS-BIND® technology, that leverages the affinity between neighboring histidine in the HIS TAG sequence and immobilized metal ions (such as Ni2+ or Co2+).

Application

HIS-BIND® Purification Kit has been used for: the purification of N-terminal 6-histidine-tagged aldehyde dehydrogenase isozyme, ALDH1A1 under nondenaturing conditions by nickel-NTA affinity chromatography, the purification of virus binding protein specific for Poliovirus Type 1, the purification of recombinant oE7, huhsp70 and oE7/huhsp70 proteins, to study the effective antitumor efficacy of human hsp70 and HPV16 oE7 fusion protein vaccine, the purification of recombinant exFPR1, MTBHsp70 and MTBHsp70-exFPR1 fusion proteins to study their role in cervical cancer immunotherapy

Features and Benefits

  • Includes HIS-BIND® resin, HIS-BIND® buffer kit and chromatography columns.
  • Solutions are included for Ni2+ charging, binding, washing, and elution.
  • Columns are pre-packed with 1.25 ml bed volume of Ni2+-charged HIS-BIND resin.
