General description

Methacrylicacid (MAA) is a liquid carboxylic acid that is colorless, viscous, and solublein most organic solvents. It is generated on a large scale in industrialapplications as a precursor to its esters, particularly methyl methacrylate(MMA).

Application

Methacrylic acid is used in the graft copolymerization with jute fiber.
