General description
Native, human prolactin from pituitary gland. Single chain peptide hormone required for lactation in mammals. Prolactin receptors are present in breast tissue, adrenals, ovary, testis, kidney, and liver. Potency: ≥30 IU/mg (WHO 3rd IS 84/500).
