General description

eMcollect Sponge is a sterile sampling device designed for use in the food industry. It comprises a premium quality cellulose sponge measuring 8 x 4 cm and 1.2 to 1.6 cm thick. The sponge is pre-soaked in distilled water containing a 10 % neutralizing agent. It is used to check the environment during production when there is a low probability or absence of disinfectant. The sponge is packaged in a blue pre-cut sampling bag that is easy to open and features a large writing area for sample information, along with an adhesive closure label. Each unit is sterilized by gamma rays to ensure safety and traceability.

Application

eMcollect Sponge is utilized to monitor environmental conditions during production, particularly in scenarios where there is a low probability or absence of disinfectant. It is capable of detecting pathogens such as Listeria and Salmonella.
