General description
130 kDa
There are two forms of Neuropilin: Neuropilin-1 and Neuropilin-2. These are non–tyrosine kinase receptors that bind to VEGF and semaphorins (SEMA3A, SEMA3B, and SEMA3F) and play an important role in the critical functioning of the nervous system. Neuropilin-2 is expressed in tumor cells, and mature and developing endothelial cells and vascular smooth muscle cells. This expression has been associated with tumor angiogenesis and progression.
Immunogen
His-tagged partial recombinant rat Neuropilin-2 protein.
Application
Detect Neuropilin-2 using this Anti-Neuropilin-2 Antibody validated for use in WB, IH, IP & IF.
Biochem/physiol Actions
This antibody recognizes Neuropilin-2.
Physical form
Unpurified Rabbit Serum containing 0.05% Sodium Azide.
