General description

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of human MATE1.

Specificity

This antibody is predicted to react to Isoform 1 and possible Isoform 3, but not isoform 2.

Application

Epitope: C-terminus

Quality

Evaluated by Western Blotting in human kidney tissue lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:250 dilution of this antibody detected MATE1 in 10 µg of human kidney tissue lysate.

Physical properties

~62 kDa observed. In some western blots, site-specific polyclonal antibodies against the C-terminal region of hMAT-1 revealed the broad immunoreactive protein band of the expected size ( 62 kDa) in human kidney membranes was observed (Otsuka, M, et al. (2005). PNAS. 102(50):17923-17928). Uncharacterized band(s) may appear in some lysates.

Physical form

Purified rabbit polyclonal in buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl with 0.05% sodium azide.

Storage and Stability

Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.
