Gene Information
human ... LAT(27040)
General description
LAT (Linker for activation of T cells) is a transmembrane adaptor protein that plays an essential role in T cell receptor (TCR) signal transduction pathways. LAT is phosphorylated on multiple tyrosine residues upon TCR engagement, recruits several important signaling proteins to the membrane, and functions as a scaffold for the assembly of numerous signaling complexes.
Specificity
Other homologies: Rat, Mouse, and Bovine (89% sequence homology).
This antibody recognizes the cytoplasmic domain that interacts with GRB2, GRAP2 and PIK3R1 of LAT phosphorylated at Tyrosine 200.
Immunogen
Epitope: Cytoplasmic domain that interacts with GRB2, GRAP2 and PIK3R1
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to the cytoplasmic domain that interacts with GRB2, GRAP2 and PIK3R1 of human LAT phosphorylated at Tyrosine 200.
Application
Detect LAT using this rabbit polyclonal antibody, Anti-phospho-LAT Antibody validated for use in western blotting.

Immunological Signaling
Western Blotting Analysis: 1 µg/mL from a representative lot detected phospho LAT (Tyr200) in CD3 treated Jurkat cell lysates. However, a decrease in signal was observed against phospho LAT (Tyr200) in untreated Jurkat cell lysates.
Quality
Evaluated by Western Blotting in LAT immunoprecipitated from untreated or CD3 treated Jurkat cell lysates.
