General description

In addition to studying inflammation for dog nutrition and disease research, canine animal models are important for human biomedical research and drug development. Cytokine and chemokines are molecular mediators of immune cell response in inflammation and immunity. Quantification of cytokines and chemokines is essential to understanding the immune system, as well as for researching disease states such as autoimmune, allergic reactions, sepsis, and cancer.

Application

MILLIPLEX® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Simultaneously analyze 13 analytes in canine serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants.

Analytes included: GM-CSF, IFNγ, IP-10, IL-2, IL-6, IL-7, IL-8, IL-10, IL-15, IL-18, KC-like, MCP-1, TNF-α

Assay Characteristics: Refer to kit protocol for assay cross-reactivity, sensitivity, precision, and accuracy.

Features and Benefits

  • Comprehensive inflammatory disease investigation: Simultaneously analyze multiple immune pathways in canine autoimmune disorders, allergies, infectious diseases, cancer immunotherapy, and chronic inflammatory conditions for better diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
  • Complete verified solution: Each kit includes lyophilized standards, quality controls, and all reagents with confirmed non-detectable cross-reactivity between analytes, ensuring reliable and accurate results across all targets.
  • Premixed bead convenience: Ready-to-use bead cocktail eliminates individual bead preparation steps, reducing hands-on time, minimizing pipetting errors, and ensuring consistent bead ratios across all wells for improved reproducibility.
  • Cost-Effective: Reduce reagent use and labor compared to traditional single-analyte assays."
