General description

Circulating cancer biomarkers give insight beyond intracellular oncogenesis and into how the body responds to the presence of a tumor, the dysregulation of homeostasis, and the relationship between a tumor and its environment. Multianalyte panels have become essential tools that enable researchers to measure cancer biomarkers simultaneously, teasing out these relationships and applying them to understand tumor biology.

Application

MILLIPLEX® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Simultaneously analyze up to 25 analytes in human serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants.

Analytes included: α-Fetoprotein (AFP), CA125, CA15-3, CA19-9, CEA, CYFRA21-1, sFas (TNFRSF6), sFasL, FGF-2 (FGF-basic), β-HCG (HCGβ), HE4, HGF, IL-6, IL-8 (CXCL8), Leptin, MIF, Osteopontin (OPN), Prolactin, PSA (free)*, PSA (total)*, SCF, TGFα, TNFα, TRAIL (TNFSF10), VEGF

Note: Total PSA and Free PSA cannot be plexed together.Assay Characteristics: Refer to kit protocol for assay cross-reactivity, sensitivity, precision, and accuracy.

Features and Benefits

  • Extensive 25-Plex Analyte Panel: This kit allows for the simultaneous quantification of 25 specific cancer biomarkers, including α-Fetoprotein (AFP), CA125, CA15-3, CA19-9, CEA, and many others, enabling comprehensive cancer analysis.
  • Flexible Sample Types: Suitable for human serum, plasma, and tissue/cell culture supernatants or lysates, making it versatile for various research applications.
  • Comprehensive Insights into Tumor Biology: By measuring multiple circulating cancer biomarkers simultaneously, researchers can gain deeper insights into tumor dynamics, host response, and the tumor microenvironment.
  • Reliable and Accurate Results: The inclusion of internal quality controls and lyophilized standards ensures that assay performance is consistent, leading to trustworthy results.
  • User-Friendly Setup: The comprehensive kit contains everything needed for the assay, simplifying the setup process and reducing the likelihood of errors during preparation.
  • Enhanced Research Efficiency: The ability to perform multiplex analysis allows for increased throughput, enabling researchers to analyze more samples in less time, which is critical in high-volume research settings.
