General description

Apolipoproteins AI, CIII, and E orchestrate cholesterol balance and lipid trafficking—processes that falter early in cognitive decline. Meanwhile, complement proteins like C3 and Factor H influence synaptic pruning and amyloid clearance, with elevated levels often marking the onset of mild cognitive impairment.
