General description

Standardized, concentrated cell culture supernatant which has been diafiltered with phosphate buffered saline. For the formulation of Anti-B or Anti-A+B blood typing reagents or devices. ES-4 gives strong reactions with all red cells displaying regular forms of the B antigen. In common with the polyclonal Anti-B found in human group A plasma, this antibody agglutinates A1 red cells which exhibit the ‘Acquired B’ phenomenon. The major application of this FFMU is as a constituent of a blended Anti-A+B reagent. JG (clone ES-15)is an excellent blending partner for this purpose. Contains 0.1% (w/v) Sodium Azide. Shelf Life: 24 months from date of filtration. Licensed by the US FDA under a shared manufacturing arrangement.

Application

Antibody intermediate for further manufacturing use.
Production of an in vitro blood typing product or device.
