General description
1-Cys-Peroxiredoxin is a cytosolic protein that is involved in the regulation of cellular redox potential. 1-Cys peroxiredoxin is a bifunctional enzyme with glutathione peroxidase and phospholipase A2 activities (Chen, 2000). It can reduce hydrogen peroxide, short chain fatty acids, and phospholipid hydroperoxides and is believed to play a role in phospholipid turnover as well as in the protection against oxidative injury.
Immunogen
Recombinant human 1-Cys peroxiredoxin.
Application
Detect 1-cys Peroxiredoxin using this Anti-1-cys Peroxiredoxin Antibody, clone 8H11 validated for use in WB, IC, IH.

The Hermansky Pudlak syndromes (HPS) constitute a family of disorders characterized by oculocutaneous albinism and bleeding diathesis, often associated with lethal lung fibrosis. HPS results from mutations in genes of membrane trafficking complexes that facilitate delivery of cargo to lysosome-related
