General description

A linear peptide corresponding to human Histone H3 dimethylated at Lys36.

Specificity

This antibody reacts to Histone H3 dimethylated at Lysine 36 (K36me2). No cross reactivity with monomethylated Lysine 36 (K36me1), trimethylated Lysine 36 (K36me3), or other methylations in Histone H3.

Application

Multiplex Analysis (Mplex): 0.1-0.5 μg/mL from a representative lot was used in Multiplex.

Quality

Evaluated by Western Blotting in recombinant HeLa protein and HeLa acid extract.

Western Blotting Analysis (WB): 0.5 μg/mL of this antibody detected dimethyl Histone H3 (Lys36) in HeLa acid extract.

Physical properties

~17 kDa observed. Uncharacterized bands may be observed in some lysate(s).
