General description
Octamer-binding protein 6 (Oct-6) is also called POU domain, class 3, transcription factor 1 (Pou3f1), Octamer-binding transcription factor 6 (OTF-6) and POU domain transcription factor SCIP. Oct-6 is a transcription factor that specifically binds to the (5′-ATTTGCAT-3′) octamer motif. Oct-6 has been implicated in early embryogenesis, neurogenesis, keratinocyte differentiation and myelination in the peripheral nervous system.
~50 kDa observed
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse OCT6.
Application
Anti-OCT6 Antibody, clone KT110 is a highly specific mouse monoclonal antibody, that targets Oct-6 & has been tested in western blotting, IHC & Electrophoretic Mobility Shift Assay.
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected OCT6 in mouse embryonic brain (D15.5) tissue.
Electophoretic Mobility Shift Assay (EMSA) Analysis: A representative lot detected SphK1 in nuclear extracts from RT4 Schwannoma or primay rat Shcwann cells (Prof. D. Meijer, Erasmus University Medical Center, Rotterdam.

Deciphering how the human striatum develops is necessary for understanding the diseases that affect this region. To decode the transcriptional modules that regulate this structure during development, we compiled a catalog of 1116 long intergenic noncoding RNAs (lincRNAs) identified de

The balance of contralateral and ipsilateral retinogeniculate projections is critical for binocular vision, but the transcriptional programs regulating this process remain ill defined. Here we show that the Pou class homeobox protein POU3F1 is expressed in nascent mouse contralateral retinal
