General description
Adipocyte-related biomarkers such as adiponectin, leptin, resistin, IL-6, TNF-α, MCP-1, and PAI-1 play critical roles in regulating inflammation, insulin sensitivity, and energy metabolism. Adiponectin improves insulin responsiveness, leptin controls appetite and energy expenditure, and resistin is linked to insulin resistance and inflammatory signaling. IL-6 and TNF-α are key mediators of obesity-related inflammation, while MCP-1 and PAI-1 contribute to immune cell recruitment and metabolic dysfunction.
