General description

Biomarkers such as Caveolin-1, CTGF, KC/GRO (CXCL1), IL-6, MCP-1 (CCL2), PAI-1 (Total), TIMP-1, TNFα, and VEGF are central to understanding vascular injury, inflammation, and tissue remodeling in rat models. Caveolin-1 regulates endothelial function and vascular permeability, while CTGF is involved in fibrosis and extracellular matrix production. KC/GRO and MCP-1 are chemokines that mediate immune cell recruitment. IL-6 and TNFα are pro-inflammatory cytokines linked to vascular inflammation. PAI-1 and TIMP-1 regulate fibrinolysis and matrix turnover, and VEGF promotes angiogenesis. Together, these analytes provide a comprehensive profile of vascular damage, repair, and inflammatory signaling
