General description

ROCK Inhibitor (Y-27632) is a selective, ATP-competitive inhibitor of Rho-associated protein kinase (ROCK) including p160Rock (Ki=140nM) and Rock-II. Also acts as a potent inhibitor of agonist-induced Ca2+ sensitization of myosin phosphorylation and smooth muscle contraction. One-hour treatment with 10uM Y-27632 blocks apoptosis of dissociated cultured human embryonic stem cells (hESCs), increases survival and cloning efficiency of hESCs without affecting their pluripotency1. Recently, some reports showed that the application of Y-27632 and Accutase (Cat. No. SCR005), a formulated mixture of digestive enzymes, enhances the post-thaw survival rate of single hESCs using conventional slow freezing and rapid thawing methods

It is established that the host cell transcriptomes of natural lesions, organotypic rafts, and human papillomavirus (HPV)-immortalized keratinocytes are altered in the presence of HPV genomes. However, the establishment of HPV-harboring cell lines requires selection and immortalization, which makes it

Fibroblasts transformed by the proto-oncogene Src form individual invadopodia that can spontaneously self-organize into large matrix-degrading superstructures called rosettes. However, the mechanisms by which the invadopodia can spatiotemporally reorganize their architecture is not well understood. Here, we show that Hic-5
