General description

The Vented Millex®-GS Filter Unit (Sterile) is medical device intended for use as a syringe filter to sterilize and/or clarify low volume solutions in direct patient care and pharmacy admixture applications.

Application

Typical applications include the sterile filtration of antibodies and critical care solutions (Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) without lipids or additives).

  • Removes microorganisms, particles, precipitates, and undissolved powders larger than 0.22 µm
  • 0.22 µm hydrophilic membrane filter sealed in a PVC housing
