General description

The Steridilutor® NEO device for liquid transfer kit enables to dilute liquids from open ampoules into a diluent container with septum. For liquid antibiotics, a dilution step is strongly recommended to reduce the concentration of the antimicrobial agent. This will reduce the possibility of binding of the agent to the filter. The liquid transfer kit single needle is a tubing and needle assembly without vent. Small diameter double needle connects test product to diluent. The assembly is to be used for difficult to dissolve powders, dilution and pooling of viscous products in vials as well as antibiotics. The diluted products are subsequently tested with suitable Steritest® Neo canister.

Application

Steridilutor® NEO devices for liquid transfer is used for the transfer of liquids from ampoules or vials to a diluent vial with septum pooling. The tubing and needle assembly is also used to dilute and pool products in vials.
