General description

Agar is a gelatinous substance, commonly used as a solidifying agent in microbiological media. It provides a stable platform for the growth of microorganisms. This agar is a mixture of Gelidium agar and a small amount of Gracilaria agar. It gives a very clear gel and shows the same good characteristics as the typical pure Gelidium agar.
