Recommended by ISO Committee for estimation of microbial counts in water under the specification ISO 6222:1999.
Preparation Note
Suspend 21 g in 1 litre distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes.
