Preparation Note
C-Phycocyanin was treated with a 15 molar excess of succinimidyl-5-acetylthioacetate. Reconstitute to 300 μl with distilled or deionized water (the solution will consist of 100 mM sodium phosphate pH 7.2, 50 mM sucrose, 0.05 % sodium azide and 5 mg/ml pigment).
