Patent Blue VF has been used:

in combination with 99mTc phytate to detect sentinel lymph node (SLN) in early stage cervical cancer patients.
to detect heat shock protein (HSP) gp96 induced draining lymph nodes (LNs) in mice.
to detect the effect of Asn-Gly-Arg (NGR)-tumor necrosis factor (TNF) on tumor perfusion in murine model.
