Novaluron (Rimon) is a type of benzoylphenyl urea,3 that acts as an insect growth regulator by inhibiting chitin synthesis. It acts as a powerful toxicant for controlling lepidopteran larvae. It is suitable in the rainy and tropics seasons, as it is a rainfast compound.
