General description

Dieldrin is a chlorinated hydrocarbon insecticide, which is one of the persistent contaminants present in the environment.

Application

Dieldrin may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in eggs using normal-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with photo-diode array detection (HPLC-PDA).
