Clothianidin is a neonicotinoid insecticide with excellent systemic action for a wide variety of insect pests, that acts effectively on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR).

Application

Clothianidin may be used as a reference standard for the analysis of the analyte in agricultural samples using dual-labeled time-resolved fluoro-immunoassay (TRFIA), followed by gas chromatography (GC).
