General description

Profoxydim is a pesticide used for the control of crabgrass, yellow bristle grass and barnyard grass in seeded and transplanted rice.

Application

Profoxydim lithium salt may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of profoxydim in rice grain samples and rice paddy systems using matrix solid-phase dispersion (MSPD) extraction followed by high-performance liquid chromatography-diode array detection (HPLC-DAD).
