Gene Information

General description

Atropine is an antimuscarinic drug, which is classified under the tropane alkaloid family of compounds.
Atropine is an antimuscarinic drug, which is classified under the tropane alkaloid family of compounds.
For the analysis of the phytotoxins.

Application

Atropine may be used as a reference standard for the determination of atropine in:
  • Blood samples by liquid chromatography combined with electrospray ionization-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS).
  • Hair samples by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry (UHPLC-HRMS) consisting of single-stage Orbitrap MS system with ESI interface.
  • Oganic buckwheat (Fagopyron esculentum L.) products by UHPLC-MS/MS.
  • Plant materials by liquid-liquid extraction and EXtrelut® column clean-up followed by analysis using gas chromatography (GC) coupled with flame ionization detector (FID) and MS.

Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
